This is a varied role that combines strategic purchasing with customer account management, giving you the opportunity to work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to bring creative concepts to life.Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will manage the sourcing and procurement of materials for a diverse range of bespoke projects. Due to the varied nature of the products manufactured, we're looking for someone with strong buying experience rather than industry-specific knowledge. Experience sourcing products from the Far East would be highly advantageous.If you're commercially minded, adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.What's on Offer: Salary up to £40,000 per annumFlexible working following successful completion of probationExcellent career progression opportunitiesOpportunity to work with prestigious, high-end global brandsSupportive and collaborative working environmentFull-time, permanent positionQualifications Essential: Previous experience within a Buyer, Purchasing or Procurement roleExperience sourcing products and negotiating with suppliersExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesCommercial awareness and strong cost negotiation skillsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative team environmentAdaptable and flexible approach with excellent problem-solving skillsDesirable: Experience sourcing products from the Far EastPrevious experience managing customer accounts or client relationshipsKnowledge of international shipping or import processesExperience working within a manufacturing or project-led environmentRoles & Responsibilities Source materials and products from UK and international suppliers to meet customer and project requirements.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times and quality standards.Support customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and ensuring their requirements are met.Work closely with Project Managers, Designers and Production teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.Manage purchase orders, supplier communications and procurement documentation.Monitor production schedules and supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of materials.Identify alternative sourcing solutions where required to meet changing project demands.Support the successful delivery of bespoke projects by balancing customer expectations with commercial objectives.Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the procurement process.Requirements As a Buyer, you will also be expected to:Be a proactive and commercially focused individual with excellent attention to detail.Thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment where priorities can change quickly.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when managing multiple projects.Build strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.Take a hands-on approach and contribute positively to a close-knit team.About Regional Recruitment This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award-winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
