Civils Site SupervisorLocation: Blyth, North East EnglandSector: Data Centres / Mission CriticalProject: £10bn Hyperscale Data Centre CampusOur client is a leading international main contractor delivering some of Europe's most advanced hyperscale and mission-critical data centre developments. They are seeking an experienced Civils Site Supervisor to join the delivery team on a landmark £10bn hyperscale data centre campus in Blyth, North East England.This flagship development, one of the largest data centre campuses in Europe, will be delivered over the next decade and represents one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all civil engineering activities across a major phase of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and in accordance with the highest quality standards.Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate civil works and ensure construction activities are delivered in line with project specifications and programme milestones.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day civil engineering works across the projectCoordinate subcontractors and site operatives to ensure safe and efficient deliveryMonitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standardsOversee earthworks, drainage, foundations, concrete works, external works and underground servicesEnsure works are delivered in accordance with programme and identify potential delays or risksCarry out site inspections and quality checks, ensuring defects are identified and rectifiedCoordinate with CSA, MEP and logistics teams to manage interfaces across the projectEnsure materials, plant and labour resources are available to support programme requirementsMaintain accurate site records, daily reports and progress updatesPromote and enforce the highest standards of health, safety and environmental complianceSupport testing, inspections, snagging and handover activitiesAttend coordination meetings and assist with short-term planning and look-ahead schedulesRequirementsProven experience as a Civils Site Supervisor on major construction projectsPrevious experience delivering hyperscale data centres, major industrial, infrastructure or commercial developmentsStrong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and sequencingExperience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple work frontsGood understanding of earthworks, reinforced concrete, drainage, utilities and external worksAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationSSSTS or SMSTS qualificationCSCS Supervisor CardFirst Aid qualification desirableStrong leadership, communication and organisational skillsPackageHighly competitive salary + comprehensive packageRotation / Accommodation / Living allowance / Travel allowanceBonus / Car allowance / Private healthcare / Enhanced pension / Life assuranceLong-term opportunity on one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developmentsThis is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most technically advanced construction programmes.
