Logistics & Inventory CoordinatorLocation: West SussexType: ContractAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a cutting-edge engineering and technology business operating within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment. We're looking for a proactive and organised Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to support the efficient flow of materials, inventory, and components across the business.This role is ideal for someone with a background in logistics, stores, warehouse operations, inventory control, or production support who enjoys working in a hands-on engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Stores ManagementMaintain accurate stock records and inventory levelsConduct regular stock checks and cycle countsInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepanciesSupport the organisation and optimisation of storage locationsParts Picking & Material ControlAccurately pick and prepare components for production or dispatchEnsure correct quantities and part numbers are issuedMaintain high levels of accuracy and traceabilityQuarantine & Rework ProcessesIdentify and segregate non-conforming materialsManage quarantine procedures in accordance with company processesCoordinate rework activities and maintain supporting documentationSupplier & Purchasing SupportLiaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, quality concerns and returnsWork closely with purchasing teams to highlight stock requirementsSupport purchase order tracking and expediting activitiesShipping & DispatchPrepare goods for shipment, ensuring appropriate packaging and documentationCoordinate deliveries with logistics providers and couriersTrack shipments and help resolve delivery issuesWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience within logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations or storesStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to prioritise workload and work independentlyExperience using ERP, MRP or inventory management systems would be advantageousConfident working within a fast-moving engineering or manufacturing environmentPersonal AttributesProactive and solution-focusedReliable and accountableQuality driven with a strong eye for detailComfortable working under pressure and managing multiple prioritiesWhat You'll GetOpportunity to join an innovative engineering organisationCollaborative and supportive team environmentExposure to advanced manufacturing and technology projectsCompetitive contract rateIf you're an experienced Logistics & Inventory Coordinator looking for your next contract opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
