Were proud to be the UKs pioneering Circular-First Managed Print Services business, leading sustainability in our sector.Instead of the traditional take-make-waste model, where resources are used once and then discarded, our circular-first managed print services centre around refurbishing and recycling Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) and parts wherever possible to cut carbon emissions, reduce landfill waste and provide a more cost-effective solution for our customers.As this part of our business grows, we are seeking a passionate individual to join our dedicated team in Leicester , working in our purpose-built refurbishment centre to extend the lifespan of technology and reduce our environmental impact.What were looking forThe Workshop Refurbishment Operative is responsible for the refurbishment and maintenance of Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs), including printers, copiers, and scanners. The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing hardware, and ensuring that refurbished units meet the company's quality standards.What youll be doingDiagnostic and Repair:Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in MFDs.Perform repairs on mechanical and electronic components of MFDs.Replace defective parts with new or refurbished ones.Conduct thorough testing to ensure proper functioning post-repair.Refurbishment:Clean and refurbish MFDs to a high standard.Rebuild and reassemble MFD units, ensuring all components are in optimal working condition.Update firmware and software as required.Quality Control:Perform final quality checks on refurbished MFDs.Ensure all refurbished units meet company standards and customer expectations.Maintain accurate records of repairs and refurbishments.Inventory Management:Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.Order new parts as needed to maintain stock levels.Track usage and report any discrepancies.Health and Safety:Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Report any hazards or incidents immediately to the Workshop Manager.Documentation and Reporting:Document all work performed on each MFD.Provide detailed reports on completed refurbishments and repairs.Maintain logs of parts used and time spent on each task.What we can offer you?Opportunities to progress and grow your career23 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days after 5 yearsStakeholder pension scheme & death in service benefit.Agile Perks reward platform offering discounts and great dealsHealthcare cash plan covering everyday expenses such as opticians, dentist etc.Cycle to work schemeVolunteer DaysReferral bonuses if you nominate a friend or a new customerEmployee Assistance Programme free advice on relationships, mental health and financial planning and more.Enhanced Maternity and Paternity schemeIf any of this has sparked some interest, then please get in touch as we would love to talk to you more about our exciting journey to build a better future, and how you could become an integral part of it!?TPBN1_UKTJ
