Forklift Driver

We are looking for a reliable forklift driver with experience to join our clients team based in Yate, Bristol. This is a hands-on role involving picking orders, receiving deliveries and loading lorries whilst taking care to look after products and follow safety procedures.

This is a temp to perm role, operating on a rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1 (Morning Shift): 5:00am 2:00pm
\n
• Week 2 (Late Shift): 1:00pm 10:00pm
\n

Your duties will include:

\n
• Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload timber products.
\n
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.
\n
• Loading customer and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
\n
• Moving stock around the yard and warehouse.
\n
• Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties as required.
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
\n

Candidates must:

\n
• Have previous forklift truck operating experience (a current licence is not essential)
\n
• Be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
\n
• Have a full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport due to the location and shift times
\n
• Be dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• Be committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety
\n
