M&E Manager Location: London Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 + Package Sector: High-End Hospitality & Luxury Fit-Out Type: Permanent The Opportunity Our client is a well-established main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering prestigious, high-specification construction and refurbishment projects across London. They are currently seeking an experienced M&E Manager to join the team on an exciting 4,000m² luxury hotel and private members' club development. This is a site-based role offering the opportunity to work on a technically challenging project where quality, programme and attention to detail are paramount. The Role Reporting to the Project Director, you will take ownership of all Mechanical & Electrical services throughout the delivery of this landmark hospitality scheme, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage all Mechanical & Electrical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover. Coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure programme milestones are achieved. Review technical drawings, specifications and design information, identifying and resolving clashes where necessary. Work closely with the Design, Commercial and Construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Chair M&E coordination and progress meetings with consultants and subcontractors. Monitor quality standards, ensuring installations comply with project specifications and statutory requirements. Oversee testing, commissioning and validation of all M&E systems. Manage inspections, snagging, witness testing and final handover documentation. Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are maintained and implemented across M&E activities. Identify programme risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project deadlines. Support the production and management of commissioning plans and O&M documentation. About You We're looking for an experienced M&E professional with a proven track record delivering complex commercial, hospitality or high-end fit-out projects. Essential Previous experience as an M&E Manager on main contractor projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services. Experience delivering high-specification commercial, hotel, hospitality or luxury fit-out projects. Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and drive programme delivery. Strong understanding of commissioning, testing and handover processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Good understanding of current Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation. Desirable HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications. Experience working on live or phased hospitality developments. What's on Offer? Salary of £70,000 - £85,000 plus an attractive benefits package.
