Are you an experienced Music & Digital Technology Tutor looking for a rewarding role within an SEMH setting?
\nRemedy Education are working with a specialist school to recruit a Music & Digital Technology Tutor to teach every Friday from September.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, delivering engaging music production sessions whilst supporting students working towards recognised qualifications.
The Role\n- \n
- Every Friday (1 day per week). \n
- Deliver Music & Digital Technology lessons to small groups and on a 1:1 basis. \n
- Support students working towards accredited music qualifications. \n
- Use industry-standard software including Logic Pro, Cubase and Apple music production systems. \n
- Create an engaging, practical learning environment for young people with SEMH needs. \n
- \n
- Previous experience working within an SEMH or Alternative Provision setting. \n
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills. \n
- Experience using Logic Pro, Cubase and other music production software. \n
- Experience delivering or supporting accredited music qualifications. \n
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). \n
- \n
- Instrument knowledge. \n
- Teaching or tutoring experience. \n
- Experience with trauma-informed practice. \n
