Senior Ad Ops Consultant with strong CTV / OTT, Publica, SSAI, video SSP and direct campaign trafficking experience required for a 3-month contract.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are working with a growing cultural media platform in the automotive and content space that is looking for a Senior Ad Ops Consultant to help architect and optimise its advertising operations setup for scale.

This is a hands-on delivery role, not an advisory position. You will be responsible for auditing the existing ad operations environment, implementing improvements, expanding and rationalising the demand stack, building trafficking and QA workflows, creating reporting processes, and documenting everything ready for a future in-house hire to take over.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be auditing and optimising the current Publica setup, including ad pod logic, timeout configuration, prebid setup and server-side bidding.

You will identify and implement improvements across fill rate, eCPM and the overall ad experience.

You will assess current and prospective SSP partners, manage bid duplication and design a cleaner demand path.

You will lead the onboarding of new demand partners where required.

You will set up direct campaign trafficking workflows covering VAST tag handling, third-party verification, pacing and creative QA.

You will build reporting processes covering revenue, fill, eCPM by inventory segment and partner performance.

You will create discrepancy and troubleshooting playbooks for delivery issues, partner discrepancies and engineering escalations.

You will document processes, support the FTE hiring process and ensure a clear handover at the end of the engagement.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE

Several years of experience in CTV / OTT ad operations, ideally within a publisher environment.

Direct, hands-on Publica experience.

Strong working knowledge of SSAI mechanics.

Experience with major video SSPs such as Magnite Streaming, Index Exchange, PubMatic, OpenX and Equativ.

Direct campaign trafficking experience including VAST / VPAID, third-party tags, IAB taxonomies and verification vendors.

A proven track record of standing up ad operations processes from scratch.

Strong knowledge of EMEA privacy frameworks including TCF v2.2 and IAB EU.
