ABOUT YOUWe're looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset. You'll have extensive experience designing and engineering Microsoft Azure solutions and enjoy leading technical initiatives, influencing stakeholders and delivering secure, scalable cloud platforms that support business growth.Required skills and experience:Significant experience designing and engineering Microsoft Azure solutions within complex enterprise environmentsStrong expertise across Azure IaaS, PaaS and Microsoft Entra IDMicrosoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305 or equivalent experience)Excellent understanding of Azure Landing Zones, Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption FrameworkExperience designing secure multi-subscription Azure environmentsStrong knowledge of Azure governance, networking, security controls and cost optimisationHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure DevOps and Azure AutomationExperience producing high and low-level solution designs and technical documentationUnderstanding of hybrid infrastructure and on-premise environmentsExcellent stakeholder management, supplier management and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesA collaborative approach with a continuous improvement mindsetABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYAs Microsoft Azure Principal Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for Intertek's Azure platform, ensuring our cloud services remain secure, scalable and aligned to business objectives.
