We are currently recruiting for our client as a preferred supplier, a Law firm with offices across the South. Our client is recognised as one of the leading law firms in the South, with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service and building lasting relationships. As the firm continues to grow, they are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Legal Accounts Individual to join their busy Finance team. This is a full time permanent role Monday - Friday based in the Salisbury office. Parking is available. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience as an Accounts Assistant or in legal finance or a general accounts background who is looking to develop their career within a respected, supportive law firm. You will work within the central Finance team, assisting with a wide range of accounting tasks to ensure the smooth and compliant running of their financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing client and office account receipts and paymentsChecking and posting bills, credit notes, and write-offsSupporting fee earners with billing queriesReconciling bank accounts and dealing with daily bankingManaging purchase ledger invoices and payment runsEnsuring compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts RulesAssisting with month-end processes and reportingHandling finance-related enquiries from colleagues across the firmHelp to develop processes within the FinanceGeneral administrative duties to support the Finance teamThey are looking for someone who is:Numerate, accurate, and highly organisedConfident with financial systems and MS Office (especially Excel)A strong communicator with a helpful, professional approachAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperienced in a legal finance role (desirable but not essential)Familiar with the SRA Accounts Rules (desirable but not essential/training can be provided)The firm prides themselves on their inclusive culture, collaborative way of working, and commitment to professional development.
