Production ManagerPermanent Position Based in Slough, UK Electro-Mechanical Assembly25 days holiday up to 10.5% company pension contributions Share schemeWe are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of manufacturing operations at a well-established, globally recognised engineering business based in Slough.This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at the forefront of advanced technology solutions, supplying major international brands across industries including food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and marine.This role is perfectly suited to a high-performing Production Supervisor (or Team Leader) who is ready to take the next step into a Production Manager position.If youve been operating at a senior supervisory level, already influencing performance, improving processes, and supporting team development, this is your opportunity to step into a broader leadership role with full operational responsibility.The OpportunityAs a key member of the senior operations team, you will lead and develop a production function of up to 30 employees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineered products in a fast-paced environment.Youll play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, with a strong focus on people, performance, and sustainability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop a high-performing production teamPlan and optimise resource allocation to meet output and financial targetsMonitor production schedules to ensure on-time deliveryMaintain and enhance quality standards across all manufactured productsImplement and drive LEAN manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce wasteChampion a culture of continuous improvement and accountabilityManage recruitment and workforce planning to meet capacity demandsOversee employee relations including performance, absence, and developmentTrack and improve production KPIs through best practice implementationEnsure effective calibration and maintenance of shop floor equipmentMaintain exceptional Health & Safety standards and workplace organisationWhat Were Looking For5 years manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilityExperience working in an assembly environmentAbility to lead, motivate, and develop teamsSolid understanding of production processes and continuous improvement methodologiesResilience and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentThank you for your application.
