We have an exciting opportunity here at our Tarmac Colchester DSM - Dry Silo Plant.We are currently looking for an Operative to join their team.Have you got what it takes to stand out?Can you demonstrate previous experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment?Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and its important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Main ResponsibilitiesReporting to our Plant Manager, the successful Operative will be responsible for actively participating and taking ownership of activities to ensure plant safety, plant availability, production output and quality.You will also take responsibility for:Meeting daily production target requirementsReporting of data for quality purposesMoving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehiclesMeeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaroundContinuous Improvement of performance standardsContinuous improvement towards plant and production methodsGood housekeepingThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment. Ideally we are looking for experience with the following Forklift Truck Operative , Multi-Skilled Operative or Labourer .
