The successful candidate will work closely with experienced solicitors and fee earners, providing essential support on a varied caseload while gaining exposure to sophisticated financial litigation work.The RoleAs a Legal Assistant within the Financial Litigation team, you will play a key role in supporting the progression of matters from inception through to resolution. You will be responsible for maintaining organised case files, conducting legal research, preparing legal documentation, and liaising with clients and third parties to ensure matters are managed efficiently and professionally.Key responsibilities will include:Conducting legal research using relevant case law, legislation, and regulatory materials.Managing and reviewing large volumes of documentation and disclosure materials.Assisting with the preparation of pleadings, court documents, legal correspondence, and case summaries.Maintaining case management systems and monitoring key deadlines, court dates, and procedural requirements.Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and other external parties as required.Supporting solicitors with trial preparation, witness bundles, exhibits, hearings, and depositions.Assisting with the organisation and analysis of financial records and supporting documentation.Ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations at all times.About YouThe firm is keen to speak with candidates who possess strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience supporting litigation matters within a legal environment.To be considered, you should have:A minimum of 23 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.Previous exposure to litigation work, ideally within commercial, financial, banking, or regulatory matters.Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court processes, and disclosure requirements.Experience using legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.Excellent drafting, communication, and administrative skills.Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.An ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.Experience or knowledge of financial services, securities regulation, banking law, or complex financial disputes would be advantageous but is not essential.TPBN1_UKTJ
