An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food Service Team Member to join a growing hospitality street food brandas they expand into a new food-to-go concept in Newcastle.This is a varied, hands-on role where you will prepare food, cook menu items and serve customers in a busy, fast-paced environment. If you enjoy working as part of a friendly team and delivering great customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Full job-specific training will be provided, and experienced candidates may also be considered for future supervisory or management opportunities as the business continues to grow.What we need from you:Ideally you will have experience working in a food or drink retail environment, or a similar customer-facing role such as street food, fast food outlets, or pubsUsed to working in a fast paced environmentExcellent customer service skillsTeam playerYou must be within commuting distance of the venueWhat the role involves:This is an all-round role where team members prepare food, cook menu items and serve customers in a fast-paced food-to-go environment. Additional duties include:Keeping the premises clean and tidyFollowing food safety and hygiene standardsTaking payments using a card machineAssisting with stock control, ordering, and stock rotationSalary : Starting at £12.50 per hour during training, rising to £13.00+ per hour once fully trained.Hours: Full-time and part-time hours available. Shifts are worked across 7 days, with start times between 10:00am11:00am and finish times between 11:00pm12:00 midnight.
