StoremanLocation: WarwickSalary: £29,000 £34,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)Shift: Monday to Friday Full-timeJob Type: Permanent | Full-timeStoreman Required Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Storeman to join a growing aerospace engineering business based in Warwick .This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience in stores, inventory management or warehouse operations. Working closely with the Stores & Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of goods in, goods out and inventory control while supporting workshop operations.The Role As a Storeman, your duties may include:Goods In Processing incoming goods and materials into the businessMaintaining accurate stock and inventory recordsEnsuring compliance with COSHH regulations, including correct labelling, storage and handling of materialsAssisting with the purchasing of consumable itemsMaintaining compliant and organised storage areas in line with company proceduresGoods Out Coordinating the dispatch of goods and materialsLiaising with transport providers to ensure timely deliveriesSupporting the Import & Export Executive with accurate export documentationEnsuring all outgoing goods are processed efficiently and accuratelyMaterial Handling Processing completed parts from the workshop into storage locationsMaintaining high housekeeping standards within workshop and storage areasSupplying workshop technicians and production staff with required parts and consumablesSupporting the day-to-day operation of the stores departmentStores & Purchasing Support Assisting with monthly and quarterly stores reportingPreparing and analysing stock forecasting reportsCarrying out regular stock audits to maintain inventory accuracyRaising and managing purchase ordersLiaising with suppliers regarding deliveries and outstanding ordersCompleting routine compliance checks within the stores departmentKey Skills and Experience We are looking for candidates who:Have previous experience in a Storeman, Stores or Inventory Management roleHave a strong understanding of warehouse and stock control proceduresAre proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsHave knowledge of COSHH regulations and Health & Safety requirementsPossess excellent organisational skills and attention to detailAre able to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentHave excellent communication and problem-solving skillsAre reliable, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a teamQualifications & Experience Previous experience within stores, warehousing or inventory management is essentialExperience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is desirableForklift Truck Licence preferredFamiliarity with customs documentation and international shipping practices is advantageousBasic understanding of customs, import and export compliance would be beneficialSalary and Benefits Working with this employer offers:Competitive salary of £29,000 £34,000 per annum , dependent on experiencePermanent full-time positionOngoing training and professional developmentHealth & Safety trainingForklift Truck training where applicableCareer progression opportunities within a growing businessOptional private healthcare packageSupportive and professional working environmentAbout Quest Employment Quest Employment is a leading UK recruitment agency specialising in industrial, commercial and technical recruitment.We work with a wide range of trusted employers across the UK and are committed to helping candidates find long-term opportunities and career progression.Apply Now If you are interested in this Storeman role in Warwick , apply today and a member of the Quest Employment team will contact you shortly.TPBN1_UKTJ
