We work collaboratively with our service users, families, and healthcare professionals to create personalised care that enables individuals to achieve the goals and outcomes that matter most to them.Live-in Support Worker OpportunityClover Care Group is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Live-in Support Worker to support a 60-year-old female in her family home in Colchester .This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care to an individual living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) who requires specialist clinical support.Due to the complexity of this package, applicants must have previous experience supporting individuals with:Tracheostomy careVentilator carePEG feedingCough AssistAirway managementThe successful candidate will work on a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rota, living in the client's home during their working period. Weekly pay and a food allowance are provided.The RoleAs a Live-in Support Worker, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver person-centred care in accordance with the individual's care plan.Provide all aspects of personal care and support with daily living activities.Safely administer PEG feeds and maintain PEG care.Deliver tracheostomy care, including routine monitoring and airway management.Support the safe use and monitoring of the ventilator.Use Cough Assist equipment safely and effectively as required.Administer medication in line with care plans and company policies.Monitor the individual's health and wellbeing, escalating concerns appropriately.Support mobility using safe moving and handling techniques.Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.Maintain accurate daily care records.Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.About the IndividualYou will be supporting a friendly lady who:Lives with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).Requires 24-hour specialist support.Uses a tracheostomy and ventilator.Receives nutrition via PEG.Requires regular airway management and Cough Assist therapy.Wishes to remain living comfortably and safely in her own home.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for Support Workers who are:Compassionate, reliable, and professional.Calm and confident in complex clinical environments.Able to work independently while maintaining high standards of care.Excellent communicators with a person-centred approach.Committed to delivering exceptional complex care.Essential RequirementsPrevious experience supporting individuals with tracheostomy care.Previous ventilator care experience.PEG feeding experience.Experience using Cough Assist equipment.Airway management experience.Experience working within complex care.Full UK driving licence preferred.Right to work in the UK.Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship.What We OfferWeekly pay.Food allowance whilst on placement.Comprehensive paid training and competency assessments.Ongoing clinical supervision and support.Career development opportunities within complex care.A supportive and experienced clinical team.Free on-site parking.Why Join Clover Care Group?At Clover Care Group, we are passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care that enables people with complex healthcare needs to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
