Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to join Samworth Brothers Food For Now (FFN) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance FTG and sitting on the Site Leadership Team, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, operational insight, and strong financial controls across the site. This role offers real influence, working closely with senior colleagues to turn numbers into actions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of site financial reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, annual).Own the budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year planning processes.Provide commercial and operational challenge to improve site performance.Deliver robust control of costs, capital investment, cash, and working capital.Partner with operational and commercial teams to enhance profitability.Drive a culture of continuous improvement and lean accounting.Lead and develop a small finance team.Act as a key finance contact for internal stakeholders, Group Finance, and external partners.This is a hybrid role, with 23 days per week based on-site in Leicester and the remainder working from home.
