Production Operative - MCU Assembly

Joining a growing manufacturing team, the Production Operative – MCU Assembly will support the assembly of high-performance electronic products used across advanced engineering sectors. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, consistency and a strong focus on quality while working with sensitive components in a controlled production environment.The Production Operative – MCU Assembly will be responsible for: Assembling mechanical and electrical components in line with work instructions, engineering specifications and production requirementsOperating assembly equipment and hand tools, including torque-controlled tools and pressesCarrying out in-process quality inspections, visual checks and testing activitiesCompleting production records, quality documentation and traceability requirements accuratelyIdentifying and managing non-conforming materials in accordance with established proceduresSupporting continuous improvement activities and maintaining high standards of workplace organisation through 5S principlesThe Production Operative – MCU Assembly will have: Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environmentAbility to follow electronic or on-screen work instructions accurately and consistentlyExperience using production hand tools and assembly equipmentAwareness of ESD controls and the requirements of working with sensitive componentsGood component recognition and understanding of handling requirements for precision partsStrong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach to workThis role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys hands-on assembly work and takes pride in delivering quality products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
