Manufacturing Engineer – NPILocation: HerefordSalary: Up to £55,000Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in prototyping and new product introduction, looking to play a key role in bringing complex, high-power products into full-scale production?This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative engineering business working on advanced electronic systems, where you'll support both ongoing development and the transition into full NPI and production.The RoleThis is a hybrid Manufacturing Engineer / NPI position, focused on supporting the development and industrialisation of highly complex, high-power electronic products.You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to take evolving designs and turn them into robust, manufacturable products, playing a key role in scaling production capability.The position offers a clear pathway to develop into a dedicated NPI-focused role within 12–24 months.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the transition of products from prototype to production (NPI)Convert incomplete or evolving designs into manufacturable, production-ready solutionsWork closely with design engineers to refine and improve product performanceDrive improvements around scalability, manufacturability, and efficiencySupport production with technical input, process development, and problem solvingAssist in developing build processes, documentation, and work instructionsContribute to ongoing product development, including performance and design optimisationWhat We're Looking ForExperience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a prototyping or low-volume environmentStrong understanding of NPI processes and product industrialisationExperience working with complex electronic or electromechanical productsAbility to work with evolving designs and bring structure to development projectsHands-on, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilityStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyDesirable ExperienceExperience with high power electronics or amplifiersInterest or exposure to RF technologiesBackground in start-up or fast-paced development environmentsExperience supporting scaling of products into productionWhy Apply?Hybrid working offering flexibility between home and siteOpportunity to work on cutting-edge, high-power technologiesPlay a key role in developing and scaling new productsClear progression into a long-term NPI-focused positionBe part of a growing engineering function with strong future potentialTo ApplyFor more information or to apply, please contact:Lewis Phillips01582 369359TPBN1_UKTJ
