This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Engineering department, supporting the smooth management of technical documentation, engineering records and project administration within a collaborative and professional environment. If you enjoy working with detailed information, supporting technical teams and ensuring documentation is accurate and well organised, this Engineering Administrator position offers the opportunity to develop your skills while playing an important role in successful project delivery.The Opportunity:As an Engineering Administrator you'll play a key role in:\n

- Recording and maintaining engineering drawings and technical documentation within the company database. \n
- Creating PDF versions of CAD drawings and ensuring documents follow established naming conventions. \n
- Issuing drawings and documentation to clients and third parties using approved document control procedures. \n
- Supporting engineering projects by creating SAP items, generating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintaining project schedules. \n
- Providing administrative support to the Engineering department, including document scanning, visitor reception, stock control and telephone enquiries. \n

- Previous experience within an engineering administration or document control environment. \n
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. \n
- Strong data entry, document management and organisational skills. \n
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems would be advantageous. \n
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple tasks. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. \n
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to work alongside engineers and designers. \n
- A professional, dependable and ethical approach with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and intellectual property protection. \n
- A willingness to learn new systems and continuously develop your knowledge. \n
- You must be able to commence employment early September \n
