Up to £53,000 (including shift allowance) + Annual BonusWhat You'll Do:Join a well-established manufacturing business that continues to invest in its people, facilities and future growth. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates reliably and efficiently, helping to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement across the site.Key responsibilities will include:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on plant and production machineryResponding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs efficientlyDiagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faultsReading and interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawingsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performanceServicing, inspecting and maintaining manufacturing equipmentAssisting with machinery upgrades and engineering projectsConducting weekly fire alarm system testingMaintaining high standards of housekeeping within the engineering departmentEnsuring compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and standardsWhat You'll Bring:Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environmentMulti-skilled maintenance experience with strong electrical knowledge and basic mechanical skillsAn engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, ONC, HNC or HNDStrong fault-finding and diagnostic abilitiesThe ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsKnowledge of welding and fabrication techniquesA flexible approach to shifts and working hoursExcellent attention to detail and a proactive attitudeDesirable experience:CNC machineryLathesMilling machinesGrindersOther manufacturing plant equipmentWhy You Should Apply:Earn up to £53,000 including shift allowanceAnnual bonus of up to 10%Regular salary reviews and annual pay increases24 days annual leave plus bank holidaysChristmas shutdownContributory pension schemeFree onsite parkingGenuine long-term career progression opportunitiesJoin a stable and growing manufacturing businessThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that values its engineering team and continues to invest in its future.
