Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Biggleswade. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company offering regular weekday work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across the region while maintaining high standards of customer service and safe driving.

Key responsibilities include:

\n
• Completing daily multi-drop deliveries.
\n
• 2-3 drops per day
\n
• Driving a curtain-sided Class 2 vehicle.
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
\n
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
\n
• Completing all relevant paperwork and using delivery systems where required.
\n
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers at each delivery point.
\n

What to Expect

\n
• Approximately 90% of deliveries are unloaded by the customer using a forklift, keeping manual handling to a minimum.
\n
• The occasional delivery may require the use of a pump truck, so applicants should be comfortable with light manual work when necessary.
\n
• Monday to Friday work with no regular weekend requirement.
\n
• Start times vary between 4:00am and 9:00am, depending on the delivery schedule.
\n
• Occasional nights out may be required, paid at £20 per night.
\n

Requirements

Applicants must have:

\n
• A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
\n
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
\n
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
\n
• A good understanding of drivers' hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation.
\n
• A positive attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
\n
