Job Title: QC Technician - FoodLocation: TiptonSalary: £16.90 per hour / £38,667.20 per yearIndustry: FMCG Food ManufacturingJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeShift: Night Shift 6pm-6am (Monday-Thursday)Hours: 48 Hours Per WeekQC Technician - Food Benefits:Competitive salary packageCompany pension schemeFree onsite parkingTraining and development opportunitiesGenuine path for progressionSupportive and collaborative working environmentKey QC Technician - Food Responsibilities:Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are monitored and compliantCarry out quality control checks on production lines to ensure products meet specification standardsSupport compliance with procedures where applicableEnsure all manufactured products are safe, legal and meet required quality standardsAssist with preparation for customer, retailer and third-party auditsConduct GMP, Glass & Plastic, and Internal Audits across the siteManage non-conformances and support corrective action implementationMonitor product rotation and date coding procedures across all departmentsCollect microbiological and environmental samples for testing and analysisVerify compliance with QA systems including HACCP, GMP, allergen control, traceability and packaging standardsCreate and manage pallet labels and case labels accuratelyMaintain accurate quality records and documentationRequired QC Technician - Food Experience:Essential Experience:Previous experience within a Quality or Technical role in Food ManufacturingGood understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety standardsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to complete paperwork and maintain accurate recordsGood communication skills with a clear understanding of EnglishAbility to work effectively both independently and within a teamPositive and proactive attitude towards food safety and quality standardsDesirable Qualifications & Experience:Food Safety or HACCP qualificationKnowledge of retailer standards and third-party auditsExperience with compliance standardsTPBN1_UKTJ
