Credit Controller

Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Wallingford to recruit a Credit Controller . The Credit Controller will receive a salary of up £30,000 along with other attractive benefits including mostly remote working , you only need to be in the office 2 days per month.Primary responsibilities;Call and e-mail customers to discuss and collect paymentsMake notes of findings in the accounting system for referenceReview aged debt report daily to identify overdue debtProvide special focus on the collection of aged (6 month +) and problematic debtHelp to facilitate the resolution of customer queries with the appropriate internal staff to ensure payment is receivedManage credit referencingMonitor credit limits and payment termsInput cash receipts daily to identify outstanding remittancesAllocate cash received and reconciliation of customer accountsSend out overdue account statements and further reminders in line with Company Control PolicyPrepare cash and age debtor reports. To distribute to accurate reports in a timely manner as required.Working alongside Business Unit Managers to help drive KPI targetsKey experience and attributes;ERP System experienceA demonstrated ability to process large quantity of data quickly and effectively and to deliver resultsStrong commercial acumen and financial analysis skillsExcellent IT skills including a high level of proficiency in ExcelGood communication and interpersonal skillsYou will have a strong work ethic and be highly organised and methodicalSolution-focused, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.Persistent and resilient under pressure, with a good sense of humourYou will be detailed oriented and accurate with the ability to review your own work and detect and fix errors prior to your managers reviewRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
