Job Description:Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Operative to join our busy client in Crawley. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble components and products according to specified instructions and quality standardsUse hand tools and power tools to carry out assembly tasks effectivelyInspect assembled items for defects or inconsistencies and rectify as necessaryMaintain a clean and organised work station to promote safety and efficiencyFollow health and safety guidelines at all times during operationsAssist with inventory management by accurately recording parts used and completed unitsCollaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlinesRequirementsPrevious experience in assembly, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is desirableProficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyStrong attention to detail to ensure quality control standards are metGood organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamPhysical fitness to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for extended periods and handling small partsPrior experience with assembly tasks or similar roles is preferred but not essentialThis position provides an engaging environment where you can enhance your technical skills while contributing to the production process.
