Regional Manager - North (Scotland, Newcastle & Carlisle)We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to oversee our Taste Café brand within Sainsbury's stores across the North region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role on a new contract mobilisation , leading the setup and ongoing success of multiple supermarket café operations.In this role, you will manage a portfolio of café sites, ensuring outstanding service, operational efficiency, and strong commercial performance. You'll work closely with your team of Unit Managers to deliver high-quality catering experiences that delight customers and drive business results.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and inspire a team of Unit Managers to deliver exceptional café services within Sainsbury's Taste Café sitesPlay a pivotal role in the mobilisation of this new contract , supporting the successful setup and launch of café operations across the regionBuild and maintain strong relationships with store management , ensuring contract compliance and consistently exceeding expectationsEnsure cafés meet Compass brand standards , with a strong focus on food quality, health & safety, and regulatory complianceMonitor site performance, identify training needs, and support career development across your teamManage labour and controllable costs across all sites to drive commercial efficiencyDrive profitability and performance through strong commercial awareness, operational excellence, and innovationEnsure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all locationsEssential Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2+ years' experience in a senior multi-site role , ideally within supermarket cafés or catering operationsProven experience mobilising new contracts or opening new sites (highly desirable)Strong track record of leading and motivating teams to deliver resultsExperience with P&L management and driving commercial performanceSkilled in building client relationships within retail or supermarket environmentsExperience working to brand standards while delivering excellent customer experiencesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities during mobilisation and BAUWhy Join Us?As part of Compass, you'll help feed people, fuel progress, and create meaningful connections across thousands of locations.
