Youll provide leadership and guidance for your team of warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication and addressing operational issues effectively.This is a full time, permanent position, where youll be working the night shift on a 4 on, 4 off, basis, 18:00 - 06:00Pay, benefits and more:Were looking to offer a salary of up to £40,297.97 plus £1,800.00, night shift allowance , per annum and 26 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What youll do on a typical day:Ensure that day-to-day operational changes are incorporated into the department standardsContinuously strive to improve the operational effectiveness of the site, to ensure high quality of service to customersEnsure all colleagues comply with company procedures and are aware of their own responsibilities to othersMonitoring key performance indicators for the areaAlways ensure effective and efficient use of the warehouse management system (SAP) by the warehouse administration teamWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams to ensure excellent performanceThe ability to work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality.
