Reporting Accountant

DK recruitment is working with a luxury brand Manufacturer in Plymouth who are looking to expand their current team and are looking for an experienced and qualified Reporting Accountant to ensure accurate and timely publication to key reports, data and metrics.Main Duties:Produce daily sales reports and other weekly sales reportsCalculate, control and post journals, prepayments, and accrualsProducing monthly management accountsCompletion of national statistics and other surveys as and when requiredProviding other financial intelligenceBalance sheet reconciliations and back-up schedules appropriatelyAnalyse financial information to assist business profitabilityAssist with the statutory auditSupport preparation of budgetReconciliation of internal sales and holding accountsOther ad hoc duties and reports as and when required or directedProduce and provide tax related informationQualifications & Experience:Honours degree or other level 6 qualificationOR AAT level 4 or equivalent, such as part-qualification of ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or relevant financial degree.Support for further studies / qualifications would be offered to the right candidate.Minimum of 3 years experience in FinanceHigh level of all round IT technical skills, including intermediate/advanced Excel skillsCommitment to quality and attention to detailAbility to multi-task, work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlinesInquisitiveness and a desire to understand the root cause issues,Critical thinker, should know how to analyse and solve the problemOrganised, good at time management.Desirable:Experience with SAP or other ERP systemsGood team player with strong interpersonal and communication skillsMotivation to learn and develop themselves and their career, and progress to taking on further responsibilitiesGood understanding of accounting principles and balance sheetTPBN1_UKTJ
