Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team?Based in the Walsall region, we are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Utility Connections Operatives to join our growing team, delivering innovative utility connection projects across the UK.No previous experience required, as we will provide you with all the training and support you need to develop into a skilled operative.The RoleWorking alongside an experienced team of operatives, you'll assist with the installation of utility connections on sites across the UK. This hands-on role offers excellent career progression and the opportunity to learn specialist skills.Your duties will include:Assisting with utility connection installations.Labouring duties, including pulling cable through trenches and ducts.Loading, unloading and handling cable drums and specialist equipment.Assisting with the operation machinery (full training provided).Working at heights and a potential to use (Cherry Pickers) as part of the role.Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping on site.Working as part of a professional team to deliver projects safely and efficiently.Full training provided, which also includes Manual handling & first aid at work.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for people with the right attitude and willingness to learn.You should be:Reliable, hardworking and eager to develop new skills.Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.Confident in working at height.A willingness to carry out various manual labour duties.Able to work well as part of a team.Willing to travel to sites across the UK.Flexible to stay away overnight when required.
