Mechanical Construction Manager Commercial Construction Central London£95,000 £105,000 + Accommodation + Travel + Bonus + Benefits Location: Central London, UKSector: Commercial Construction / M&E / Building ServicesEmployment: PermanentA leading M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join a major commercial construction project in Central London.This is a key leadership role on a high-profile site, supporting the Project Manager in delivering mechanical works safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in driving site performance, managing teams, and ensuring successful project delivery through to handover.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on siteSupport the Project Manager in delivering works in line with programme and project objectivesManage labour resources, subcontractors, and site teamsEnsure the highest standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance are maintainedOversee installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework, and plantMonitor progress, maintain site records, and report on performanceEnsure plant, equipment, and materials are managed safely and efficientlySupport commissioning activities and ensure systems are ready for handoverMaintain site discipline and promote a high-performance team cultureMentor and support apprentices and junior team membersIdentify and escalate risks or issues impacting deliveryRequirementsProven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager on commercial construction projectsStrong technical knowledge of mechanical building services systems (HVAC, pipework, plant)Experience managing subcontractors and site teams on fast-paced projectsStrong understanding of health, safety, and environmental systemsMechanical trade background or relevant qualification in Mechanical / Building Services EngineeringStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsAbility to work in programme-driven environments and deliver to tight deadlinesTPBN1_UKTJ
