Senior Project Manager Location: Aldermaston, BerkshireRate to £450 a day An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading RC Frame and Groundworks contractor, delivering a prestigious £8 million external works package on the Aldermaston nuclear project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor renowned for delivering complex reinforced concrete and groundworks schemes across the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the project from inception through to successful completion, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme performance are achieved. The Role As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of the external works package, leading the site team while maintaining strong relationships with the client, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of a £8 million external works project on a high-security nuclear site.Manage project programmes, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.Oversee site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.Drive health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the project.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and the internal delivery team.Monitor commercial performance alongside the commercial team.Produce regular progress reports and attend client meetings.Identify and manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.Mentor and develop site management teams.Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the RC Frame and Groundworks sector.Track record of delivering projects valued between £5 million and £20 million.Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, and project controls.Experience working on complex infrastructure or highly regulated projects is advantageous.Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance required for work on the Aldermaston site.If you are an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to take on a challenging and rewarding project with a market-leading contractor, I would love to hear from youTPBN1_UKTJ
