Shift Injection Moulding Setter LeaderPanama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment. As part of the technical team, you will play a key role in ensuring production plans are achieved through the safe and efficient setting of injection moulding machinery, supporting operational excellence and maintaining high quality standards across the manufacturing process.Responsibilities - Shift Injection Moulding Setter LeaderAs a key member of the setting team, you will be responsible for ensuring mould tools are changed and machines are set in line with production requirements. Your duties will include:Setting and optimising injection moulding machines in line with manufacturing plans and product specificationsCarrying out safe mould tool changes in accordance with company proceduresPerforming basic first-line maintenance on mould tools and production equipmentCompleting and documenting daily and weekly safety checksEnsuring mould tools are installed correctly and products meet specification sheets and control samplesMonitoring product quality and implementing corrective actions where requiredEnsuring the correct materials and stock are used throughout the manufacturing processSupporting production operators and providing specialist technical guidanceMaintaining accurate manufacturing documentation, machine records and product labellingCommunicating technical issues and production risks to the wider production teamDriving efficient working practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the departmentMaintaining a safe, organised and clean working environment at all timesExperience & Qualifications - Shift Injection Moulding Setter LeaderProfessional qualification in Injection Moulding and Automated SystemsPrevious experience setting injection moulding machines within a manufacturing environmentStrong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, machinery and toolingGood understanding of manufacturing procedures and best practicesExcellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilitiesStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectivelyCompetent user of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills across all levels of the businessKey BehavioursConfident communicator with strong interpersonal skillsPositive and proactive 'can-do' attitudeAbility to lead by example and support colleagues on shiftPassionate about continuous improvement and operational excellenceStrong health and safety awarenessAbility to build effective relationships across multiple departmentsMethodical, patient and persistent approach to problem solvingWorking Environment & BenefitsPanama shift pattern providing excellent work-life balance28-day cycle consisting of 14 working days and 14 days offOpportunity to work within a technically advanced manufacturing environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesSupportive team culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvementLong-term career progression opportunitiesFor more information on this role, please contact Charlie Boulton on 01453 852544, or send a copy of your CV toFor details of other opportunities available within your chosen field, please visitOmega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
