Community Transport DriverLocation: EpsomPay Rate: £13.45 per hourTemporary Ongoing PositionMonday to FridayMust have D1 License EntitlementPin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Community Transport / Meals at Home Driver to join a well-established community service based in Epsom.This is a rewarding role supporting vulnerable members of the local community by providing reliable transport and, where required, delivering meals to individuals in their own homes. The majority of the role will focus on community transport, although flexibility to assist with meal deliveries would be advantageous.Working Hours:Monday: 08:30 16:30Tuesday: 08:30 17:30Wednesday: 08:30 16:30Thursday: 08:30 17:30Friday: 08:30 17:30Duties:Transport members of the local community safely to and from appointments, day centres and other destinationsAssist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle where requiredDeliver Meals at Home to customers when requiredCarry out daily vehicle safety checksMaintain accurate records and delivery paperworkProvide excellent customer service and represent the organisation professionallyEnsure the safety and wellbeing of passengers at all timesAdhere to all road traffic legislation and company proceduresRequirements:Full UK Driving Licence with D1 entitlementPrevious driving experience preferredGood communication and customer service skillsCaring, patient and reliable approachAbility to work independentlyAn enhanced DBS check is required (this can be arranged if you do not currently hold one)Benefits:Ongoing temporary assignmentOpportunity to make a genuine difference within the local communityDBS provided where requiredFor more information or to apply, contact our Wallington branch .TPBN1_UKTJ
