Production & Assembly Operative - Construction ManufacturingLocation: WellingboroughPay Rate: £13.30 per hourHours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 4:30pmHours per week: 45 hoursContract: Temporary to PermanentProduction & Assembly Operatives Required - WellingboroughQuest Employment are currently recruiting Production & Assembly Operatives to join a busy and well-established construction manufacturing business based in Wellingborough.This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for stable full-time hours, weekly pay, training and the chance to build a long-term career within manufacturing.The role will involve producing high-quality timber construction products, including roofing systems, timber frames, boarding and other structural building components. Full training will be provided, with opportunities to develop across different areas of the business.The RoleAs a Production & Assembly Operative, your duties may include:Manufacturing and assembling timber construction productsWorking with roofing systems, boarding, timber frames and structural componentsUsing hand tools and power tools, including nail guns, saws and woodworking equipmentMeasuring, cutting and preparing timber materials for productionReading basic production instructions and assembling products to specificationCarrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standardsMoving materials and supporting stock organisationAssisting with general yard and production dutiesKeeping workstations clean, tidy and safeWorking as part of a team to meet daily production targetsFollowing all site health and safety proceduresWhat Were Looking ForWe are looking for candidates who:Have previous experience in production, manufacturing, construction, assembly, woodworking, warehouse or yard work, desirable but not essentialHave experience using hand tools or power tools, beneficial but not essentialAre physically fit and comfortable with manual handlingHave good attention to detailCan follow instructions accuratelyAre reliable, punctual and hardworkingHave a positive attitude and willingness to learnCan work well as part of a teamHave a good understanding of health and safety practicesDesirable ExperienceThe following would be beneficial but is not essential:Counterbalance Forklift licenceSide Loader licenceMulti-Directional Forklift Truck licencePrevious timber manufacturing experiencePrevious construction or assembly experienceTraining and DevelopmentFull training will be provided.
