This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail to develop within a supportive and progressive environment.The RoleYou will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting a range of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Duties will include:Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting processReconciling bank accounts, sales taxes, and payroll taxes monthlySupporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closingsPreparing small company accounts in line with FRS 102Completing VAT returns using Xero and similar systemsManaging payroll processes using BrightPay and Payroll Manager.Handling general administrative duties, including emails and phone enquiriesRequirementsEssentialMinimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or a related fieldStrong working knowledge of Xero and QuickBooksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailDesirableExperience using BrightPayFamiliarity with FRS 102 small company accounts preparationRelevant higher education qualificationWhat's in It For You20 days of annual leave, plus bank holidaysNEST pension schemePotential end-of-year bonus based on company performanceClear opportunities for progression within a growing organisationWhat's next It's easy!
