Superior Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Children's Complex Care Support Worker to support our client living in Sittingbourne, Kent . About the Role You'll be providing one-to-one support to a wonderful young boy between the hours of 08:00AM-14:00PM, who is looking for someone who is: ReliableChatty and engagingHappy to play and take part in activitiesHe lives at home with his family and requires support with a range of complex healthcare needs. Your role will involve helping him remain safe, comfortable, and able to enjoy everyday activities while receiving high-quality care. Clinical Needs Experience supporting children with complex care needs is desirable. The client requires support with: Ileostomy carePEG and jejunostomy careEnteral feeding via pumpMedication administrationSeizure management and emergency responseOxygen administration and pulse oximetry monitoringMobility support and safety supervisionCVC/line safety (full training provided)The client has a range of complex gastrointestinal, neurological and developmental needs, and full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident in your role.Shift times: 8:00AM - 14:00PM (6 hours per shift)About You We are looking for someone who is: An excellent communicatorExperienced in PEG care and paediatric supportA confident driver with access to their own transportFriendly, chatty and empatheticEager to learn and develop their understanding of complex health conditionsPassionate about delivering person-centred careWhether you are an experienced Support Worker , Healthcare Assistant , or Community Care Assistant , we would love to hear from you.
