CNC Machinist (Mill -Turn)DerbySalary - £33,000 35,375 per annumMonday to Thursday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 1:00 pmMonday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pmReporting to the Team Leader, you will be expected to run multiple CNC Machines. Working in a team environment on a two-shift pattern, Monday to Friday. Overtime available.Responsibilities of thisCNC Machinist role:Setting/operating multiple CNC machines following standard operating instructionsAchieve relevant productivity levelsFollow H&S rules and regulationsRequired Skills and Competences for thisCNC Machinist role:Competent in Setting, Running and understanding a Mill Turn LatheExperienced in Mazak, Fanuc operating systemsDemonstrate experience within a manufacturing / precision engineering environment.Be able to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately.Confident in the uses of a variety of inspection equipment and methods to validate product.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to interface with all levels of the organisation.Ability to question and make decisions based on data and facts.Working within a team to achieve departmental and business objectivesEducation & ExperienceStrong attention to detail and precision.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.Ability to work to instructions with limited supervision.Capability of working in a high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.Good communication skillsProblem solving and solutions finding attitude.Click Apply, or contact Jamie Garcia - Courtice for more info:Thank you for your application.
