This role will be responsible for acting as the frontline contact between Lathams Global Document Services (GLODOCS) team and department users such as attorneys, paralegals, and professional staff, as well as coordinating department workflow, intaking document work requests, clarifying instructions, negotiating deadlines, communicating job statuses, maintaining the ServiceNow job queue, assigning work to team members, and ensuring that deadlines are met. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Please also note, we are recruiting for the following schedule:Tuesday - Saturday: 8:30am-4:30pm.Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include:Managing emails received in the GLODOCS mailbox and moving requests to appropriate Outlook foldersEstimating job duration and difficulty and negotiating deadlines for projects to assure that agreed-upon deadlines are achievableEnsuring accurate and timely completion of assignments and responding to inquiries from customersCreating, revising, formatting, and maintaining document files at an advanced level in core applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AcrobatCommunicating with GLODOCS staff to ensure that they are on track to meet their deadlinesRequired profile Wed love to hear from you if you:Demonstrate the ability to understand intricacies of documents and work requests, and leverage that ability into accurate estimation of job durationDisplay the ability to analyse/troubleshoot issues and implement appropriate solutionsPossess the ability to evaluate a variety of factors to accurately ensure that demand for departmentalAnd have:A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a bachelors degree or equivalentRelevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm, preferablyMicrosoft certifications in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, preferablyWhat we offer Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
