Warehouse Order Checker

Location: Bedford

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 8:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Order Checkerto join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who has strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for checking customer orders before dispatch, ensuring products, quantities, labels, and pallet presentation meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check picked customer orders against original customer requirements.
\n
• Ensure correct products and quantities have been picked.
\n
• Verify labels match pallet quantities and order details.
\n
• Inspect pallets to ensure they are presented correctly and free from damage.
\n
• Print and apply customer-specific labels.
\n
• Complete despatch checks and apply relevant labels.
\n
• Prioritise workload to ensure courier collections and same-day orders are completed on time.
\n
• Report any picking errors to supervisors and relevant teams.
\n
• Wrap and rework pallets when required.
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
\n
• Support other warehouse areas, including despatch and goods-in, when required.

About You:

\n
• Previous warehouse, order checking, picking, packing, or dispatch experience is desirable.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Good communication skills.
\n
• Able to work in a busy warehouse environment.
\n
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for the full shift.
\n
• Good level of English to read and understand instructions.
\n
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
\n
