I love working with this school as staff feel supported and the children are always smiling!The Role:As a SEND Teacher, you will lead a class of students with additional needs, delivering highly personalised learning tailored to EHCP outcomes and individual development goals.You will create a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment that supports students academically, socially and emotionally while helping them build independence, confidence and life skills.Key Responsibilities:\n

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging personalised lessons
\n
• Adapt teaching to meet a range of SEND including Autism, SLD and complex needs
\n
• Set individual learning targets linked to EHCP outcomes
\n
• Support communication, literacy, numeracy, emotional regulation and independence
\n
• Track progress and implement interventions where needed
\n
• Lead and deploy Teaching Assistants effectively within the classroom
\n
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and external professionals
\n
• Prepare and lead annual review / EHCP meetings
\n
• Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times
\n
• Contribute to the wider life and development of the school
\n

We Are Looking For:\n

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
\n
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND, Autism, SLD, SEMH or complex needs desirable
\n
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
\n
• A creative, adaptable and child-centred teaching approach
\n
• Commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress
\n
• Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills
\n
• Passion for making a lasting difference
