Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
• Prior experience in K-8 special education settings preferred
• Solid grasp of Multi-Categorical disability support and instructional adaptation
• Demonstrated ability to manage individualized education plans (IEPs) and compliance documentation
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Creative approach to resource allocation and flexible teaching strategies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction for students in self-contained or resource settings
• Modify general education curriculum to meet unique student needs
• Assess student progress, maintain records, and implement data-driven interventions
• Collaborate in developing and updating IEPs, ensuring compliance at all times
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom culture conducive to learning
• Partner with related service staff, teachers, and families to support student success
