Your Impact in This Role
This is a remarkable opportunity for an OBGYN physician to become part of a thriving, reputable practice, backed by a strong referral network and the extensive resources of a comprehensive health system.
Join a well-established team of 8 OB/GYN physicians.
On-call schedule consists of 24 hours in-house at St. Joseph Hospital, with a rotation of 1:8 days and a post-call day off.
The practice encompasses St. Joseph Hospital, which features an OBGYN Resident Program.
Access to consultations from 4 Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists for high-risk mothers and infants, as well as Gyn/Onc, Uro/Gyn, and Breast Surgeon consultations.
Ultrasounds are conducted by Sonographers at the clinic.
A da Vinci Xi Robot is available for surgical procedures.
The office is equipped with 10 exam rooms, 1 procedure room, 1 ultrasound room, and 2 non-stress testing rooms.
Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management.
Recommend and engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
Accept patient referrals from other physicians and serve as the admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients as needed.
Participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, as requested.
Ensure documentation meets insurance requirements and appeal any denials promptly.
Engage in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty care, which may include on-call responsibilities.

24/7 in-house coverage for OB/GYN, OBHG, and Anesthesia.
Family-centered maternity and neonatal care.
Features a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit (including 11 labor rooms and 5 high-risk care rooms), 5 OB ED triage rooms, 3 operating rooms, and 2 recovery rooms.
Family Birth Center with 23 beds.
On-site social workers and lactation specialists available.
Level III Nursery and NICU-Level III with 54 beds, staffed by Board Certified Neonatologists available 24/7.

Minimum Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
MD/DO credential from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board required prior to the hire date or job transfer.
Advanced Life Support certification preferred; accepted from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
