Special Education Teacher - Littleton, Colorado

Available positions are tailored to varying caseload needs:

• Special Education Teacher (Elementary, 15-20 students)
• Special Education Teacher (High School, 15-20 students)
• Center-based Middle School Special Education Teacher (4 students)

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential in Colorado (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in supporting diverse learners with IEPs
• Familiarity with push-in service models and inclusive instructional strategies
• Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
• Flexibility to manage varying caseload sizes and student needs
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to empowering students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction in inclusive settings, primarily through in-class support
• Manage IEP goals, progress monitoring, and documentation for assigned students
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Foster positive relationships with students to promote self-advocacy and achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families
• Adapt to evolving student needs and school expectations throughout the academic year
