Open Positions:
- Elementary (K–2): Resource Teacher delivering push-in/pull-out services.
- Elementary (Grades 3–4): Resource Teacher focused on push-in/pull-out interventions.
- Middle School (Grades 7–8): Resource Teacher providing targeted support in resource settings.
- High School (Grades 9–12): Resource Teacher with a caseload of approximately 35 students in a dedicated resource classroom.
Desired Background and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential appropriate for the state of North Carolina
- Demonstrated experience or student teaching in special education settings
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional techniques to meet the needs of students with diverse learning profiles
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, working with general education teachers and other support staff
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture
- Passion for creative problem-solving and advocacy for students
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, effective instruction in a resource setting utilizing push-in and pull-out models
- Create differentiation strategies for learners at varied academic levels
