Special Education Teacher in Marysville, CA

Based onsite and full-time, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of students requiring mild/moderate and emotional disturbance support. Multiple positions are available for grades K-12, including resource specialist roles and special day class teaching opportunities.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential for grades K-12 (state-appropriate)
• Background working with students requiring mild to moderate interventions or with emotional and behavioral exceptionalities
• Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and developing tailored instructional plans
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Adaptability to meet students’ diverse academic, social, and behavioral needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for optimal student integration
• Conduct ongoing assessments and progress monitoring, adjusting interventions as needed
• Liaise with families, service providers, and administrators to support holistic student growth
• Document goals, behavior plans, and learning outcomes in compliance with district standards
