This contracted role is ideal for a skilled professional passionate about supporting adolescents with complex needs, working alongside a dedicated team to foster student growth and independence.

This assignment begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027, offering an impactful school year experience. You’ll work a steady schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, providing direct therapy and consultative support for students in grades 9-12.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in a school-based setting, ideally with high school students
  • Confidence supporting youth with complex physical, cognitive, or emotional needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Commitment to individualized, student-centered practices

Responsibilities Include:

  • Direct occupational therapy service delivery to a caseload of approximately 18 students
  • Developing and implementing IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborating with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families
  • Conducting assessments, creating progress reports, and maintaining thorough documentation
  • Adapting interventions and materials to promote student access and participation in school routines
  • Participating in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
