This rewarding contract position runs from August 19th to June 3rd, with working hours from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM. There are two openings available: one at the middle school level and another at the high school level, providing the chance to make a significant impact and work with students at a critical stage in their educational journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification (SPED)
- Current Pennsylvania state clearances
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in either middle or high school settings
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for creating adaptive, engaging lesson plans and fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with varying needs
- Provide differentiated instruction and support within the classroom environment
