Tax Supervisor

Kforce's client, a regional CPA firm, is seeking a Tax Supervisor in Plantation, FL. This firm offers a great work life balance, good benefits along with the opportunity to advance. This position can work up to 1 day remote. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Prepare and review complex tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and high-net worth individuals, ensuring financial accuracy Identify and assist with tax planning opportunities, provide consulting services to clients, and participate in client management Conduct tax research and draft memoranda on technical issues Manage multiple client engagements independently and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables Communicate with clients and tax authorities regarding tax matters and controversies Collaborate with audit and advisory teams for integrated client service Supervise, mentor, and train staff and seniors Participate in firm enhancement, marketing efforts, and various projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred CPA is a plus 4-7 years of public accounting tax experience with a focus on tax compliance and planning Strong understanding of tax laws and accounting principles Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
