TriStar Horizon Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a collaborative Women's Services team. This LDRP unit provides care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, newborn transition, and Level II NICU support.
Unit Details- 9-bed LDRP unit
- 1-bed OBED
- 4-bed Level II NICU
- 1 OR suite
- No unit secretaries or techs
- Labor & Delivery nursing
- Recovery of mother and newborn transition
- OB emergency management
- Charge nurse experience required
- Shoulder dystocia
- Postpartum hemorrhage
- Fetal monitoring interpretation
- Inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil
- C-section recovery experience
- C-sections
- Circumcisions
- Intrauterine monitoring
- Vacuum-assisted deliveries
- Forceps-assisted deliveries
- BLS
- NRP
- Fetal Monitoring certification/training
- 3 shifts/week
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- Floating may be required within the facility
- Meditech
- CPN monitoring system
- Infant warmers
- PCA pumps
- Tele-med neonatology robot
- Bili-blankets
- Pink and/or brown scrubs required
