Special Education Teacher | Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active Special Education Teacher certification for Pennsylvania (PA SPED cert)
• Up-to-date Pennsylvania clearances to work in educational settings
• Prior experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities in a school environment preferred
• Ability to provide instruction and develop IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to collaborating with general education teachers, staff, families, and related service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and make appropriate adaptations for students with diverse needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, working closely with academic teams and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal, state, and district requirements
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes student growth and independence
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development
• Provide behavioral and academic supports as needed
